Ramallah _ 8/6/2023 Based on information and field follow-up of the agency: today, Thursday, the customs police seized a truck loaded with construction waste coming from a settlement to bury it in the lands of citizens, west of Salfit Governorate, and it is considered hazardous waste to the Palestinian environment.
And by summoning the competent authorities in the Environmental Quality Authority and the Ministry of National Economy, it approved the seizure of the seized items and the referral of the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the legal procedures.
The agency calls upon the fellow citizens not to trade settlement goods and provide any service to the settlements. Because it constitutes a violation of the law and exposes those who violate it to legal accountability.
