Seizing 11,000 broiler chicks coming from Israel in Hebron Governorate

Ramallah - 9/7/2023 While carrying out regular patrol duties, the customs police seized, today, Thursday, in the Hebron Governorate, a vehicle loaded with 11,000 broiler chicks coming from Israel without an agricultural transport permit and a veterinary certificate.
By summoning the competent authority in the Ministry of Agriculture, it decided to seize the seized items and refer the case to the Public Prosecution - the Economic Crimes Prosecution, to complete the legal procedures.
In another context, the customs police, while working at one of the checkpoints, this Thursday evening in the Hebron Governorate, seized a vehicle containing a quantity of postal parcels coming from Israel and prohibited from being traded in the Palestinian market.
By summoning the competent authority in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, it approved the reservation of the quantity until the due legal procedures were completed.
