Ramallah - 9/26/2023 The Customs Police Service, represented by the Director of the Nablus Directorate, Colonel Ahmed Bisharat, participated today, Tuesday, in the opening of the Office of the Ministry of the Interior in the town of Aqraba, located in the southeast of the city of Nablus. This came in the presence of the Acting Governor of Nablus, Mr. Ghassan Daghlas, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry. The Ministry of Interior, Mr. Youssef Harb, the mayor of Aqraba, Mr. Salah Bani Jaber, leaders of the security services, representatives of official and national activities, and a crowd of people.
Major General Hab Al-Rih stressed that the opening of these offices comes within the Ministry’s policy and objectives to expand the services provided to citizens in a way that serves the Ministry’s plans and aspirations, and enhances citizens’ steadfastness.
Major General Hab Al-Rih also referred to the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas to continue working to implement the law and provide security and safety for all, calling for concerted efforts to spread a culture of civil peace, and praising the efforts of the security establishment in pursuing negative phenomena.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Interior’s office in Aqraba will provide the ministry’s services to more than 70,000 people.
