Ramallah - 2/20/2024 The Acting Governor of Nablus Governorate, Brother Ghassan Daghlas, chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Public Relations and Media in the Security Institution, today, Tuesday, in the Governorate House. This is to emphasize the role of the security institution in enhancing security and safety for the citizen and enhancing mutual trust between the citizen and the security personnel through dialogue, which must be translated into the form of efficient and credible security services. This came in the presence of directors and representatives of the Ministry of Information and official and unofficial institutions in the governorate
This leads to achieving the concept of partnership, so that every citizen is a partner in security, which would contribute to generalizing the state of security and stability in the country in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through.
For his part, Douglas appreciated the efforts of the Supreme Committee for Public Relations and Media in enhancing cooperation and the participation of all in society in decision-making and consultation for what is best for the homeland and the citizen, and delivering important information to the Palestinian citizen regarding the street.
The committee stressed that one of its duties is to work to create a unified security discourse with media content that respects the citizen’s mentality, reveals the facts, and appreciates the security man’s efforts and sacrifices.
In addition, the members of the committee stressed the importance of having a single, coordinated national media narrative in light of media manipulation, which would preserve the highest interests of our people.
  The members of the committee also emphasized increasing the volume of communication between institutions and citizens, the transparency of this communication, unifying the official media discourse, quickly responding to rumors to guide public opinion, controlling the media reality and controlling rumours, investigating news from its reliable source, and strengthening bridges of trust between the official institution and citizens and relations. the public
