Ramallah - 5/15/2024 The Commander of the Customs Control Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, honored His Excellency the Palestinian Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Faed Mustafa, and praised his efforts and the efforts of the embassy staff in arranging, coordinating and providing everything necessary to make the visit of the Service Commander, Major General Barakat and his accompanying delegation, a success.
The Commander of the Service, Major General Barakat, said, “The Palestinian Embassy and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mustafa provided full support and made all necessary arrangements to ensure the success of this visit, which included holding fruitful meetings with our counterparts in Turkish Customs, where ideas and experiences were exchanged in the field of customs security and combating smuggling in all its forms.” .
The Commander of the Service, Major General Barakat, praised the role of the Counselor at the Palestinian Embassy in the Republic of Türkiye. Rana Abu Saaiba, who played a prominent role in coordinating and arranging this visit and ensuring its success.

In turn, His Excellency the Ambassador thanked Dr. Major General Mustafa Barakat for this honor and for this distinguished gesture by His Excellency, and praised the work of the customs police apparatus in protecting the national economy and combating customs smuggling and tax evasion, in order to protect the state’s capabilities and strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian citizen on his land.
