Ramallah - 5/30/2024 The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, and his accompanying delegation met today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Preventive Security Service in Ramallah, with the Director General of the Preventive Security Service, Major General/ Abdul Qader Al-Taamari, “Abu Al-Mu’tasim.”
In turn, Major General Barakat praised the major role played by the Preventive Security Service in maintaining internal security, stressing the importance of close cooperation between the arms of the security establishment to achieve civil peace and combat crime in all its forms.
For his part, Major General Al-Taamari expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the customs police agency in protecting the national economy, providing food and health security for citizens, supporting the national product, and combating customs smuggling and tax evasion.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Barakat honored Major General Al-Taamari, in appreciation of his efforts and contributions in serving the people of our Palestinian people.
In the same context, Major General Barakat honored the Assistant Director General of the Preventive Security Service for the Department of Public Relations, Media and Gender, Brigadier General Ikrimah Thabet, for his efforts in building bridges of communication between the Preventive Security Service and the customs police.
