Ramallah - 4/7/2024 During inspection tours of shops and markets: The customs control agency, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Ministry of National Economy, seized approximately 200 kilograms of food supplies unfit for consumption today, Thursday, in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. As a result of its expiration date, eating it may result in significant health risks to consumers.
In view of this, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in healthy and safe ways and to complete the legal procedures in due course.
The Customs Police Service calls on citizens to report any materials suspected to be harmful to public health by calling the toll-free number 132 or through the agency’s official page on the social networking site (Facebook).
