Ramallah - 7/9/2024 While carrying out regular patrol duties: Today, Tuesday, the customs police seized a vehicle loaded with (250) liters of smuggled diesel coming from one of the settlements in the Bethlehem Governorate.
In view of this, the competent authorities in the Ministry of National Economy and the Petroleum Authority approved the reservation of the quantity and referred the case to the Public Prosecution - the Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the legal procedures in accordance with the law.
The Customs Control Service calls on citizens not to use smuggled fuel due to the harm it causes to vehicles, public safety and the national economy.
