Ramallah - 7/22/2024 Major General Iyad Barakat, Commander of the Customs Police Service, began today, Monday, an official working visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the head of a delegation from the agency’s leadership that will last several days. He was received by Major General Jalal Al-Qudah, Director General of Jordanian Customs.
Major General Barakat began his visit with a tour of the general administrations of Jordanian Customs, where Major General Barakat and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the work mechanisms followed and customs procedures applied in the Kingdom. He also visited the Regional Training Center, where he presented a shield of thanks to the center in appreciation of its efforts in implementing a specialized course in combating smuggling and inspecting goods.
The visit to Jordanian Customs aims to enhance cooperation, exchange experience, and sign a memorandum of cooperation for the training program.
