Ramallah - 7/25/2024 The Customs Police participated, today, Thursday, in the preparatory meeting of the National Risk Assessment Team, which was held at the headquarters of the Financial Follow-up Unit in Ramallah. The meeting covered several presentations related to the tools used to update the assessment, the requirements for the next stage, in addition to the role of each party in providing the data and statistics required for the team. The national team includes all ministries of jurisdiction, law enforcement agencies, and designated non-financial professions and businesses.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director of the Financial Follow-up Unit and Head of the National Team, Dr. Firas Murrar expressed his deep thanks to all team members from various entities, praising their efforts that contribute to strengthening the authorities’ commitment to the requirements of the Financial Action Task Force, especially with regard to understanding and managing the risks associated with money laundering crimes and other related crimes.
